KING STREET SOCIAL CLUB is available for hire for gigs, club nights, rehearsals, launches and community-led events. It’s a straightforward room above a working men’s club in North Shields — no velvet ropes, no corporate sheen, just a proper space built around sound, atmosphere and people who care about what they’re putting on.
We work best with independent promoters, bands, artists and organisers who value culture over clout. If you’re trying to build something real — whether that’s a touring show, a local night, or a one-off idea that needs the right room — we’re open to it.
The bar’s downstairs, the bingo still runs, and the meat raffle isn’t going anywhere. We’ll help you put on a great night without getting in the way of it.
